[Cullman, AL | June 26, 2026] The City of Cullman was recently recognized by the Liberty Learning Foundation for its continued support of the organization’s civics education programs in Cullman City Schools. During a visit to City Hall, Tricia Bobo, Vice President of Regional Development for the Liberty Learning Foundation, presented Mayor Woody Jacobs with a special Liberty Learning Foundation commemorative coin in appreciation of the City’s partnership.
“The City of Cullman’s support helps make these programs possible for local students,” said Bobo. “We appreciate the City’s investment in helping students learn about citizenship, character, and civic responsibility. Strong communities begin with educated and engaged young people.”
Mayor Jacobs said he is proud to support a program that helps students better understand the country’s history and the responsibilities of good citizenship.
“It’s important for our kids to learn about the history of our nation, our founding documents, and what it means to be a good citizen,” Jacobs said. “Programs like this help prepare them to be informed, engaged members of their communities, and we’re glad to support that effort.”
The Liberty Learning Foundation is an Alabama-based nonprofit organization that partners with schools and local communities to provide programs focused on civics, character, financial literacy, career readiness, and America’s founding principles. The organization’s programs serve students from elementary school through high school at no cost to participating schools through the support of local sponsors.
