[Cullman, AL | June 23, 2026] The Cullman City Council and Mayor Woody Jacobs presented a resolution of appreciation to the City of Cullman Right-of-Way Maintenance Department during the June 22, 2026, City Council meeting. Superintendent Clain Fletcher accepted the recognition on behalf of the department.
The resolution recognizes the department’s ongoing efforts to maintain public rights-of-way, easements, and other public property throughout the city. Employees work year-round to mow and clear rights-of-way, remove debris, maintain public spaces, and address conditions that affect the safety, appearance, and functionality of the community.
Mayor Jacobs and members of the City Council commended the department for its professionalism, dedication, and commitment to public service. The resolution was presented in conjunction with the recent observance of Right-of-Way Professionals Week and highlights the important role the department plays in helping keep Cullman clean, safe, attractive, and well maintained.
The City expressed its appreciation to the employees of the Right-of-Way Maintenance Department for their continued service and contributions to the quality of life enjoyed by residents throughout the community.
