The City of Cullman Wastewater Treatment Plant has been recognized for its outstanding operations by the Alabama Water & Pollution Control Association (AWPCA). At the recent AWPCA Conference, the plant was awarded the “Best Operated Plant Award” in the Bio-Filter/Trickling Filter category for 2023.
This accolade highlights the plant’s unwavering commitment to excellence and its reputation as a leader in wastewater management within the state of Alabama. The recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the plant’s staff, who continuously strive to maintain high operational standards and environmental stewardship.
“We are incredibly proud of our team for achieving this honor,” said Mayor Woody Jacobs. “This award reflects our commitment to providing top-tier wastewater treatment services to our community while safeguarding our environment.”
