BREMEN, Ala. – The inaugural Smith Lake Idol will come to a close Saturday night when the Top 3 hit the stage in the grand finale at Rooster’s Corner. The contest has been entertaining residents since late June, thanks to Patrick “Kat Daddy” Watson, Drew “Rooster” McClendon and Smith Lake Productions’ Kris and Kelly Eddins.

Last Saturday’s round featured Idol’s Top 6 contestants: Josh Wade, Meghan Grenaway, Johnathan Ralph, Cody Hallford, Shawn Travis and Jake Mann. At the end, only Wade, Ralph and Mann were left standing.

Smith Lake Idol’s Top 3 will perform Saturday, Aug. 1 at Rooster’s Corner at 8 p.m. The first-place winner will receive $1,000 and the second-place winner will receive $500.

Rooster’s Corner is located at 1455 County Road 110, Cullman, AL 35057. Doors open at 6 p.m. Admission is $10. The food bar is $15.
