CULLMAN, Ala. – A team from Hanceville High School Future Farmers of America (FFA) on Friday evening won the inaugural Cullman County Fair Farm Olympics. In events including the team plank walk, nail driving, hay bale stacking, rope climbing and a wheel barrow race, Hanceville teammates Will Akin, Kevin Chavez, Barrett Hardin and Garrett Riggs defeated tough rivals from Good Hope High School by a single point in the final count.

Cullman Lions Club representatives said they plan to repeat the event, and hope to see it grow in years to come.
