X. PUBLIC HEARINGS
PH1 1. To set a public hearing on May 24, 2021at 7:00 p.m. for Ordinance No. 2021-31 to rezone property of County Road 703 from R-1 Residential District to R-2 Residential District.
XI. REQUESTS, PETITIONS, APPLICATIONS, COMPLAINTS, APPEALS AND OTHER
P1 1. A special event request from Tommie Sanders of Wellstone-Cullman for a De-stress Fest at Depot Park from 11:00 am until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 15, 2021.
P2 2. A special event request from Andrew Spratlin of the United States Army for a block party and food truck rally with Army aviation simulators, the Army Band and a DJ in the vacant parking lot behind Buffalo Wild Wings from noon until 7:00 p.m. on June 4 and 5, 2021.
P3 3. A special event request from Christy Turner of Cullman City Parks of Recreation to hold the annual Strawberry Festival in the Downtown Special Events District on May 1, 2021.
P4 4. A special event request from from Wesley Moore of the City of Cullman to hold the 2021 AHSAA State Track Meet at Cullman High School beginning on April 30, 2021 and ending on May 1, 2021.
XII. RESOLUTIONS, ORDINANCES, ORDERS AND OTHER BUSINESS
R1 1. Resolution No. 2021-81 to award the bid for sewer pipe to the lowest responsible bidder, Consolidated Pipe & Supply Co., in the amount of $47,424.00.
R2 2. Resolution No. 2021-82 to authorize the Mayor to enter into contract with Weber Group and Aquatic Development Group, the lowest responsible proposers, for a major addition to the “Wild Water” Waterpark at the Cullman Wellness and Aquatics Center.
R3 3. Resolution No. 2021-83 to authorize the Mayor to enter into contract with Proslide Technology, Inc., the lowest responsible proposer, for a multi-tiered waterslide complex tower with a canopy and a children’s slide complex area to incorporate with the major addition to the “Wild Water” Waterpark at the Cullman Wellness and Aquatics Center.
R4 4. Resolution No. 2021-84 to enter into a funding and construction agreement with ALDOT for resurfacing and traffic striping of West Main Avenue SW from Highway 278 to Highway 69.
R5 5. Resolution No. 2021-85 to enter into agreement with Computer Network, Inc. for professional billing services and software.
R6 6. Resolution No. 2021-86 to accept the streets in “The Flatts” of the Fischer Farms subdivision.
R7 7. Resolution No. 2021-87 to adopt the standards for the construction of Sanitary Sewer Systems.
R8 8. Resolution No. 2021-88 to adopt the standards for the construction of Water Distribution Systems.
R9 9. Resolution No. 2021-89 to amend the public records request policy for the City of Cullman, Alabama.
R10 10. Resolution No. 2021-90 to approve Change Order No. 1 to Pipeworks Plus, Inc. in the amount of $16,150.00 to improve sanitary sewer cleanouts.
O11 11. First Reading of Ordinance No. 2021-29 to adopt the 2021 Back-to-School Sales Tax Holiday (July 16th, 2021 – July 18th, 2021).
O12 12. First Reading of Ordinance No. 2021-30 to issue General Obligation Warrant Series 2021 in the amount of $29,085,000 to provide funding for the new Civic Center Complex.
